Артем Семенов

Artem Semyonov was born on February 1, 1986 in the city of Krivoy Rog, Dnepropetrovsk region, his father is a machinist, mother is a cook.
At the age of 8, a situation occurred with Artyom that abruptly changed his whole life. Once, having come with his mother to church, he heard the singing of the church choir. “I was so amazed,” recalls Artyom, “that I could not calm down until my mother agreed with the priest to take me as a singer.”
Artem decided to connect his future life with church singing. Therefore, in 2003 he entered the choral faculty of the Krivoy Rog Music College. In parallel with his studies, he moonlights at the local operetta theater. “Once, our director decided to stage an experimental play“ Elena the Beautiful, ”says Artyom. - And I suddenly decided, given my unusual voice data - to play the main role in the play! The whole troupe, of course, took it with hostility, but the director thought ... and took a chance. As it turned out later - not in vain! People threw down in a crowd - after all, the poster says: "Elena the Beautiful - plays Artyom Semyonov." For Kryvyi Rih - an unheard of thing. "
After graduating with honors from the Kryvyi Rih Music College and the Lviv Conservatory, Artyom Semyonov faces a difficult choice for himself - whether to continue his creative career or devote himself to the church. “I thought, if we are to go into church life, then forever, that is, to get a haircut as a monk, to take a vow. What if after a while I want to return? In general, during that period of my life I realized that I was not yet ready for this ... "
Artem moves to Kiev. Luck smiles at him - he becomes the soloist of the duet "DejaVu". But, after a short time, the team breaks up. “As such, there was no work in the capital, and in order to somehow survive, I got a job in a nightclub. I made my own program, with bright enough vocal material. But it turned out to be of no interest to anyone. I remembered the success in the theater, so the image of the diva Ursula appeared, bright, defiant, shocking. Now the audience hooted with pleasure, meeting my exit, although I doubt that it was especially important for them what and how I sing. Seeing my condition, my friend dragged me to the casting of "Talents". Honestly, when I was walking, I didn’t believe that something would come of it ”.
The appearance of Artyom Semyonov at the casting of the first season of the show "Ukraine Got Talent" (2009) became a real sensation. He managed to surprise the audience and the jury with his unique vocal abilities - Artem Semyonov is one of the few singers in the world who has both a male tenor and a female soprano. Artem took second place and received a grant for the development of talent. He spent all the money on studying with the Russian opera diva Lyubov Kazarnovskaya, becoming her only student.

In 2013, in the spring, Artem holds his first solo concert in Kiev. In the autumn of the same year, he goes to the First All-Ukrainian Tour, which starts in Kiev.
At the same time, Artem presented the Galart choir, unique in its nature, performed by classical pieces in a new, interesting interpretation.
Artem Semyonov also continues to work at his School, teaching vocal skills to students of different age groups, some of them have won prizes in various vocal competitions, his recording studio in Kiev is developing.
To the delight of numerous fans of the Artist's work, in 2013 the clips "Two minutes" and "Take off" are released.
Artem Semyonov is not only a unique singer, but also a poet and composer.
