The FACTOR-2 group was formed in 1999.

Ilya Podstrelov studied at that time at a vocational school, where he met Vladimir Panchenko. Volodya told Ilya that he was also engaged in music and sings well, which Ilya later became convinced of himself. Ilya invited him to sing together ... And so the group "FAKTOR-2" was formed

The guys wrote songs, tried to give their first concerts.

In August 2002, DJ VITAL came across the songs of the guys, who had successfully produced several German projects, and offered them a joint work.

In September of the same year, the guys signed a contract and the work began to boil. The success of the guys began to grow noticeably by leaps and bounds. In November, the guys held their first big concert for 3000 people, after this advertising concert the guys suddenly disappeared from the musical Olympus, no one knew where they were and what would happen next ...

But in July 2003, they came with new songs to conquer most of the Russian-speaking population of Germany.

The group "FACTOR-2" went on a tour, which lasted about two years, and in total 274 concerts were given.

In December 2003, when meeting with Sergei Zhukov, DJ VITAL gave him a disc of the group "FACTOR-2". Sergei was interested in the project, and now the guys' creativity comes out in Russia.

Less than a year later, in January 2005, two albums of the "Factor 2" group were released in Russia at once - "We are fake MC" and "In our style". At the same time, a video for the song "Beauty" (directed by Sergey Zhukov) is being shot in their support. In August 2005 "Russian Radio" took this song into rotation and it immediately took first place in the "Golden Gramophone" hit parade. By this time, both first albums have already been sold in large quantities and are being reissued with bonus tracks. In 2008, their independent album "Rarity" was released, and the video "I will try to forget" was shot on one track, it reinforced the independence of the group members (without a producer). Since 2009-2010, the group has been recording singles, one of which has been filmed for the video "Flammable". In 2011, the guys are preparing a new album and embark on a tour of Russia with it, for some time Ilya and Vladimir hide the name of the album. But the album was never released, but many singles were released, some of which made it to the music tops, namely the tracks "But I'm Not" and "Brown-eyed". Thus, the guys began to regain their popularity and many remembered about this group again, despite rumors about their disappearance from the Russian stage. In early 2012, the guys announced that they are working on an acoustic album, which will be released later this year.
