Miranda Cosgrove
Miranda was born on May 14, 1993 in Los Angeles, California to mom Christen Cosgrove, dad Tom Cosgrove. Her parents did not know that their daughter would become a star, but she discovered her abilities at a young age. At three years old, Miranda Cosgrove danced and sang at the Taste of LA restaurant. The talent agent who came there was amazed at her singing and dancing, and immediately signed a contract with her. Miranda has appeared in several commercials for Burger King, McDonalds and other companies.
But her career was not limited to just advertisements - she also auditioned for many roles, and finally got her first role, which is just the beginning of her career. Miranda was chosen among 1000 applicants for the role in the film School of Rock. While filming School of Rock in New York, Miranda got a call and said she had been cast on Drake and Josh.
She landed the role of Drake and Josh's younger sister on Nickelodeon's Drake and Josh. In 2005, Miranda was offered to star in the film Yours, Mine and Ours. She also starred in one episode of the series "Unfabulous", which also airs on Nickelodeon.
There was no limit to her success. Finally, Nickelodeon decided that it was worth opening Miranda's show. She is currently filming iCarly and starring. Nickelodeon also thought about Miranda's career as a singer. Her songs are featured in Drake and Josh, at the start of her own series iCarly. Her debut album Sparks Fly was released in 2010, and High Maintenance (EP) was released in 2011. In 2010, she voiced the character of the cartoon Despicable Me - Margot. The hit show iCarly brought Miranda Cosgrove more than fame, it gave her the opportunity to launch her singing career. It all started with an iCarly theme song called "Leave It All To Me." Most people agreed that Cosgrove had a number of real talents.
In 2013, Miranda will star in the TV series Girlfriend in a Coma. Together with her in this series will star Christina Ricci. Also, in 2013, the sequel to the Despicable Me cartoon comes out, where Miranda voices the character Margot.
