Elka is a singer who appeared on the Russian music scene thanks to the efforts of SheFF (Vlad Valov, known for his musical projects Bad Balance, Word Play, Legal Business $, Decl). The rapid ascent of Yolka up the ladder of Russian show business began in 2001, when she, as part of the Ukrainian rap team B&B (from Uzhgorod), arrived in Moscow for the International RAP MUSIC Festival. Three years later, her song "City of Deception" literally blew up the capital charts. Then there appeared "Girl-student", "Good mood", "Girl in Peugeot", etc. Since then, Yolka has firmly established itself among the most popular Russian performers.

The nickname Elka appeared in childhood. According to some sources - because of her "prickly" character, according to others - because of her love for colorful outfits and sparkles. Before Lisa became a famous performer, she performed in the school choir, for two years unsuccessfully tried to study vocals professionally, played in KVN (teams "1 + 1" and "Chamber No. 6"), worked as a dishwasher in a coffee shop and participated as a backing -vocalists in the rap group "B&B".

The Christmas tree itself, despite the stage openness and a certain familiarity (communication with the audience, making fun of the guitarist), turned out to be a rather shy girl, touchingly using words in a diminutive form ("baby", "Siberia", "concert", "solyanochka") , positively funny, absolutely without star disease and not particularly fond of talking about personal things.

Regarding the "inventions" ... Some consider the Christmas tree to be the performers of the so-called "lesbo music" (along with Zemfira, Arbenina and Surganova). The girls at the concert in Rock City, which gathered quite a lot of people, although the program largely repeated last year's (in Novosibirsk, the Christmas tree for the second time), presented their idol with a plush toy, a blue-blue rose and covered the stage with flower petals ... In general, demonstrated the manifestation of love in every possible way. Elka herself behaved unusually after the concert, while communicating with journalists - she confessed her love to bass-guitarist Katya and tried to kiss her.

The Christmas tree does not like performances "under the veneer", equally vividly experiences its different creativity - from the glamorous-sugary "Girl-student" to the piercing Mikheev's "Bitches-love", although the attitude towards them is different. Regarding the first song, he clarifies: "I can laugh at myself, so sometimes I allow myself to laugh at others." And he considers himself a happy person: “Everything that I really wanted in childhood is beginning to appear in me. (Laughs) For example, new boots, ice cream ... I was banned from ice cream as a child, as I remember now, in 1983 ”.
