Vadim Samoilov, Alexander Kozlov and Petr May in 1988 in Sverdlovsk created the Agatha Christie group, in fact, their musical group was formed years earlier, but it was this year that their first concert took place. During the recording of the album "Second Front" Gleb Samoilov joined the group.

After the recording of their second album "Treachery and Love" the group was noticed and invited to various rock festivals. The line-up changes and the group re-records the record that has become so fateful.

Their third album, Decadence, was released in 1991. In the same year, the group received the Grand Prix at the Open du Rock festival of young European groups in France in Burgundy - ten thousand francs and a large bottle of American whiskey.

In 1993, the album "Shameful Star" was released, on which there was a song that became a real hit - "Like in War". The group toured successfully throughout the country, having managed to record several clips.

The album "Opium", which was released in 1995, brought the group real success and hits "Fairy Taiga", "Opium for Nobody", "Black Moon", "Eternal Love" and "HaliGaliKrishna".

In 1996, two albums were released at once: a collection of remixes "Heroin 0 Remixed" and a disc "Hurricane".

In 1998, in Monte Carlo, the group won the World Music Awards in the category “Best Selling Foreign Group”.

For the next two years, Agatha Christie toured extensively with other rock bands.

In July 2000, the album "Mine Kaif?" - an album whose songs are tied to one plot.

On March 1, 2001, Alexander Kozlov dies, which was a blow to the Samoilov brothers. The band members decided never to take their friend a keyboard player in place.

The next album was released only in autumn 2004 and is called “Thriller. Part 1".

In 2008, in honor of its 20th anniversary, Agatha Christie released a full collector's edition of its albums, and in July the video for the song Podvig premiered on A-One TV channel.

On February 2, 2009, the group announces the end of their joint creative activity, going on a tour called "Epilogue", as well as releasing the album of the same name.

Today Gleb Samoilov is the leader of the group "Gleb Samoiloff & The Matrixx". And Vadim is engaged in production activities, the fight against piracy, and also promises to soon create his own group.
