Girls' Generation
On July 19, 2007, the band's first unofficial performance took place on the MCountdown stage with the single "Into the new World". At the same time, their first show, M. Nets Girls Go To School, kicked off. Following songs were released «Beginning» and «Perfect for You» (Honey) from the album Girls Generation.
On August 5, 2007, the official promotion on SBS's Inkigayo, MBC's Show kicked off! Music Core and KBS's Music Bank.
After a short hiatus, the group returned with their single "Girls Generation", with promotion starting in November. The album was a success and sold 121,143 copies. At the end of the year, the album took 8th place. Immediately after the end, the single "Kissing You" was promoted, featuring Super Junior's Donghae. This song was very popular and was frequently shown on TV.
In March 2008, the album "Girls Generation" was reissued and the single "Baby Baby" was added. In April 2008, Roommate debuted with Jessica, Tiffany and Seohyun with the single "Bad Brother".
In January 2009, Gee's 1st mini-album was released, featuring Minho from the Shinee group. This song blew up all the music charts and won many awards. She lasted 8 weeks on Mnet, surpassing the Wonder Girls' "Nobody" record by 2 weeks. On Music Bank, Gee was voted song of the year.
The second single from the mini album was "Him Nae (Way To Go)". After that, Tiffany and Yuri were selected to host MBC's Music Core.
After a short break, they again amazed everyone with their new image "Marine Girl" and the single "Tell Me Your Wish".
On January 28, 2010 the release of the 2nd album "Oh!" The fans fell in love with the bright and perky images of the cheerleaders, the song immediately appeared at the top of the charts.
On May 3, 2012, the SNSD subgroup debuted TaeTiSeo.
The subgroup consists of three members: TaeUeon, Tiffani and SeoHyun. The group name is an abbreviation for the names of the members. The girls debuted the single "Twinkle".
During 2012, the group was active in the Japanese music scene and released several Japanese singles.
In December, SNSD released their first music video for "Dancing Queen", which they dubbed "Back in the Past." The video shows the band's activities from 2008 to 2013 and at the very end you can see a teaser for the video for the new album.
On the eve of the release, the label presented teaser photos of the girls, which caused great surprise to everyone. SNSD
The band's full-length album, "I Got A Boy", was released on January 1st.
While the group met the beginning of the year with the release of a full-length Korean album, 2013 ended with the release of a full-length Japanese album. "LOVE & GIRLS" was released on December 11th, featuring both new tracks and previously released singles.
On February 24, 2014, the band's fifth mini-album, entitled "Mr. Mr", was released.
