"Kirpichi" is a musical group from St. Petersburg. In 1995, the guys gave their first concert, only then they were called "Bricks Are Heavy".

In subsequent years, the composition of the group suffered changes, in the end there were three of them - Vasya Vasin, Danila Smirnov and Yevgeny Nazarov. The first recordings were made in April 1996 at the Tropillo studio.

In 1996 their first album "Bricks are Heavy" was released. Soon the guys are shooting a video for the hit song "Baika". In the same year they were named the opening of the year at the New Wave of St. Petersburg Rock festival.

The band continued to give concerts and participated in various music festivals.

In 1998-1999, the guys began to rap and alternate between rap and rock concerts. In the same 1999, the second album, "Death on the Rave", was released, which included such hits of the group as "Tortured the Bastards", as well as "I Spit", on which the video was shot.

In 2000, the third album "Capitalism 00" was released in rap style. On February 18, Kirpichi's drummer, Zhenya Nazarov, died. On March 30, a concert dedicated to his memory was held, where Tequilajazzz, IFK, "NOM", "Cradle", "Jan Ku" also performed.

Zhenya's place went to Svetlana Terentyeva from the Buttweizer group. But after a while she was replaced by Vadim Latyshev.

After the release of the video for the song "Danila-Blues" the group returns to dense concert and touring activities in Russia and the CIS countries.

In 2002, the fourth album "The Power of the Mind" was released, approved by both fans and the media. In the fall, the guys shoot a video for the song "Schoolchki" in an ordinary St. Petersburg school. The song "Jedi" has received special recognition and has conquered the top of many radio charts.

In March 2004 "Bricks" will present the album "Let's Rock!" and new guitarist Ivan Ludewig.

In December 2005, the Tsarsky Album is released, full of lyrical sound and love songs, which is not at all typical for the group's previous works.

The album "7", recorded in 3 months, is released in 2006, continuing the lyrical mood of the "Tsar's Album".

The group presents the album "Stones" to the world in autumn 2008 (this is the group's eighth album).

In autumn 2009 the group will present a new single "Glavklub".

And in the winter of 2010 the group released the ninth album "New Kirpy Moo Fock".
