Love for music was shown from childhood. He graduated from a music school, accordion class and immediately began performing with the "Uslada" ensemble. In 2006 he began an active solo career.
Since autumn 2006 - the face of the MTV channel and one of the main characters of the interactive MTV series “Alice's Dreams”.

Graduated from the vocal department of the Music College named after I. Gnessin, graduate of the College of Pop and Jazz Art (2008). In the same year, he entered the Moscow Art Theater School for the experimental course of Kirill Serebrennikov, but studied for only one year.

In December 2007, Alexei Vorobyov in New York at the meeting of the UN World Youth Council was chosen as Goodwill Ambassador to Russia. Today he is in charge of all AIDS programs in Russia.

On March 5, 2011, Alexei Vorobyov was selected as the representative of Russia at Eurovision 2011. The song to Alexei was written by RedOne - producer of Lady Gaga. At the competition he performed under a pseudonym - Alex Sparrow and took 16th place.
