Velvet is a Russian musical group. The soloist of the group is Ekaterina Belokon, the author of music and lyrics for all songs. She is a professional musician (she graduated from the Ippolitov-Ivanov School with a degree in music theory).

At the moment, the group has two albums (2008 - "Beat the drums", 2010 - "Doll seller") and 9 singles. Thanks to the success of the song "Sorry", the team was awarded the Golden Gramophone in 2010. The group received the second statuette in 2011 for the song "Nanolyubov". During their short existence, Velvet managed to record a duet with the group "Bi-2" and Grigory Leps.

From the latest news, it is only known that on January 30, 2012 a new video of the group for the song "Everything will be forgotten" was released.
