Cher Lloyd took 4th place in The X Factor project. Her debut single "Swagger Jagger" was released in June 2011, although it received a lot of negative reviews from critics, but it took first place in the UK charts and second in the Irish.

The second single "With Ur Love" was released on 31 October and peaked at # 4 in the UK and # 5 in Ireland.

In the same 2011, Cher's first album "Sticks + Stones" was released. In the spring of 2012, the singer announced that she had begun work on her second album.
