Fool's Garden

Many years ago, The Beatles arrived in Hamburg - those concerts are still remembered by non-renevians with a kind of inner trepidation. It would be surprising if the Beatles trail did not appear on German soil in the early 90s, when everyone and everything - from Oasis to Blur - followed in the footsteps of the Liverpool four. The German response to the Britpop wave is Fool's Garden. They, in general, have never hesitated to admit where exactly the ears grow from in their simple, but pleasant to listen to music. The band's leaders Peter Freudenthaler and Volker Hinkel have repeatedly named The Beatles among the main inspirers and suppliers of creative ideas for Fool's Garden. Well, for the listener, everything became quite obvious after the release of the third album "Dish Of The Day", which contained the band's main hit - the affectionate and a bit naive "Lemon Tree".
