Рэпер Сява

Rapper Syava is a stage character, a collective character created by Vyacheslav Khakhalkin. Syava is a parody of the so-called Gopnik subculture. He performs gop-hop compositions.

Vyacheslav Khakhalkin was born in Perm. He performed as DJ Slava Mook in his hometown and appeared frequently on the pages of Ptyuch magazine. Together with their colleague Ilya, the "honored sound engineer of the Kama region", they created minimalist electronic music, but their project was not very successful.

Soon Vyacheslav came up with Syava - a gopnik with seeds, in sweatpants and patent leather shoes with “toes”. Syava read a very peculiar rap and even shot a video for the hit "Bouncy" (also called his first album), which collected more than 3 million views on YouTube.

Together with Vyacheslav Khakhalkin, his colleagues are working on the Syava project: Siply (Ilya Druzukin, professional sound engineer) and Serzhanya (Sergey Shkarupa, history teacher at PSU).

In 2009, Syava was nominated for the Hero of the Runet award, but did not make it to the top five.

In 2010, Khakhalkin starred in the TV series School, where he played the leader of a skinhead gang.

Khakalkin says about his character: “There is no fake here - the image will not work if there is no truth. I myself lived in the area, I communicated normally with the boys. Syava is a mockery of oneself. "
