Edward Maya – Eduard Ilie was born in 1986 in Bucharest, where he graduated from a music school and is currently graduating from the conservatory. In parallel with his studies, Eduard launched an active musical activity to create and produce tracks for other Romanian artists. At the age of 19, together with his friend Eduard Carcota, he wrote the song "Tornero" for Mihai Traistariu, with which Traistariu took part in the Eurovision Song Contest and took 4th place.
