Елена Ваенга – Vaenga Elena (real name Khruleva) was born on January 28, 1977 in Severomorsk. Previously, on the site of the city of Severomorsk, there were two villages - Lower Vaenga and Upper Vaenga. The Sami river Vaenga flowed between them. In the future, Elena decided to take a creative pseudonym - Vaenga. The word Vaenga in the Sami language means "female deer". Elena graduated from art, music and alpine skiing sports schools. Subsequently, Elena Vaenga forever retained her affection for alpine skiing. Elena Vaenga wrote her first song at the age of 9. At the same time, she became the winner of the All-Union Competition for Young Composers, held on the Kola Peninsula. Elena received a classical music education.
