Big Bang –
Big Bang is a male music group from South Korea. The group originally consisted of 6 members, one of whom, Jang Hyun Seung (now a member of B2ST), was dropped prior to the group's official debut.
The band's first release was the mini-album Always (2007), which spawned the hit single Lies. Subsequent mini-albums "Hot Issue" and "Stand Up" were also successful. Winning the Artist of the Year award at the M.net KM Music Festival and the Seoul Gayo Daesang Award, the group became active in Japan, releasing several mini-albums and digital singles. The guys almost did not promote these works, but after the release of the first physical Japanese single "My Heaven" a year later, they often attended various Japanese shows and music programs.
Until the end of 2009, the name "Big Bang" began to lead in search queries in South Korea. They also became the first foreign group in Japan to receive the Best Newcomer award at the Japan Cable Broadcasting Award, and the first Korean artist to receive the Japan Records award. Over the years, the members have also taken up solo activities, with Taeyang and G-Dragon releasing solo albums and singles, while TOP, Tae Sung, and Seungri have taken up acting activities.

Discography

Korean discography
Studio albums
Bigbang Vol.1 (2007)
Remember (2008)
Special editions
Big Bang Special Edition (2011)
Still Alive (2012)
Mini Albums
Always (2007)
Hot Issue (2007)
Stand Up (2008)
Tonight / Big Bang Special Edition (2011)
Alive / Still Alive Special Edition (2012)
Singles
We Belong Together (2006)
La La La (2006)
BIGBANG (2006)
Japanese discography
Studio albums
Number 1 (2008)
Big Bang (2009)
Big Bang 2 (2011)
Best of Big Bang (2011)
ALIVE (2012)
Special editions
Monster (2012)
Mini Albums
For the World (2008)
With U (2008)
Singles
My Heaven (2009)
Gara Gara Go!
