Giga (real name - Nazar Gerasimchuk) made himself known in the mid-2000s: he received his first fame as MC Gerik Gorilla. He graduated from the Kiev National Technical University, after which he worked on television and was a resident of two Kiev clubs.

In 2010, Gerik Gorilla took part in the MUZ-TV reality project "Battle for Respect" and reached the quarterfinals.

In 2011, already under the name Giga Nazar, he recorded a joint track with Basta called "Hello". The video for this song gained 2.5 million views on the Internet, and the "sovmesochka" itself was included in Gigi's debut album "Mega". In support of the record, the rapper arranged a tour of 20 cities of Ukraine with a final concert in Kiev. This show attracted several thousand viewers, and the Mega disc was recognized as the best Ukrainian rap album of 2011.

There were other successes on account of Gigi: his song "Mama" was included in the soundtrack of the Russian film "Moms", and last fall Giga recorded the anthem for the Ukrainian reality show Big Brother.
